Smith was back at work Monday after a week's vacation he spent with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Burns Copperfield Agnes McDonald Ladies Aid was entertained Thursday at the home of Mrs. William Peterson. Special guests were Mrs. Melbourne Allen and Miss Margaret Anderson. Lunch-eon was served to twelve mem-bers and the remainder of the afternoon was spent in sewing. The Misses Mary and Vig Sal-ta- s were hostesses to a Five Hundred club party at their home Tuesday evening. Prizes were awarded Andy Takis and Miss Lillian Golesh. Lunch was served to eight guests. Bank night was the occasion for the raffling of the Ladies Aid quilt Wednesday. The lucky win-ner was Mrs. Agnes Steele. Miss Aspacia Brown returned home Sunday from Tooele where she has been visiting Mr. and Mrs. T. Gochis for the past two weeks. Mrs. Cecilia Anderson of Mid-val- e has been visiting Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson for the past week. Mrs. Sam Kastanis and child-ren were visitors of Sam Saltas Tuesday. The Misses LaVern Anderson and Annie Pantalone attended a shower for Miss Beverly Clays given by Mrs. Mary Culleton Tuesday . Sec. 11, T. 3 S., R. 3 W., SLB&M. The water from the lower tunnel will be collected by drifts from said tunnel from an area described as follows: Beginning at a point N. 81 deg. 49 min. W. 1759 ft. from said SE Cor. Sec 11, and running thence S. 50 deg. 54 min. W. 2.4 ft., thence S. 76 deg. 6 min. W. 21.5 ft., thence N. 81 deg. 13 min. W. 39.5 ft., thence N. 21 deg. W. 28.5 ft., thence N. 28 ft., thence N. 55 deg. 30 min. E. 39 ft., thence S. 62 deg. E. 27 ft., thence S. 28 deg. E. 27.1 ft., thence S. 7 deg. 30 min. E. 38.3 ft, thence S. 50 deg. 54 min. W. 2.4 ft. to the place of beginning. The water from the two tunnels will be commingled at the por-tal of the lower tunnel and con-veyed thence by pipe to the com-munity of Copperton and there used for domestic and municipal purposes.
