| Show rather father views Vl eVs editor I 1 having returned from the worlds fair and being asked by many how utah exhibits appeared I 1 will say well as far as utah was represented it was waa very creditable in some respects but utah was waa riot not properly represented presented rs J in n the agricultural Bail building diniz there were no fresh vegetables I 1 was anxious that we should have had a good show of fresh vegetables and 1 determined on my own expenses to take ta ke specimens of my ray own vegetables but unfortunately ly in my y trunk sot got lost by the baggage man in chicago so I 1 was very disappointed over the tha four entrances entrance a 0 o the utah exhibit was a large painted but the potatoes ea on exhibition were grown ladt la jac year and were in a miserable condition n I 1 regretted there was no one in charge eba to of our department to show and explain to visitors all appeared very anxious to gaarn something of our car re sout sou ces ices toe mo molt 11 0 it t i relies map showing our system cf irrigation was very good the sugar exibia ex bit from lehi with its different diffee nt fes of sugar received considerate consider abo abe attention also the wool products and the salt exhibits exi bits I 1 paid several visits tj our utah building it was very neat and attractive the majestic statute of brigham young standing on the lawn outside the building was a great attraction I 1 attended the grand concert given at the menteral Cen teral music hall in chicago by our salt lake tabernacle choir chair it was waa excellent aud and gave full satisfaction 0 provo oct ath 1893 |
