D. S. Primary association was held Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Ray Olsen, president of the organization. Ivor Pickering, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephan Pickering, who is employed at Arthur, is recuperating recuper-ating at the St. Mark's hospital in Salt Lake City, where he underwent un-derwent an appendix operation Friday. Mrs. Ben Wideman entertained at a party Wednesday afternoon honoring her small son, Charles, on his fourth birthday. A valentine valen-tine theme was used in the favors fa-vors and decorations. Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Knudsen were host and hostess at a din-1 ner party at their home Tuesday evening. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Colyar, Mrs. Vaun Christensen, and Howard Kelly. Mrs. Jenny Myers, of Eureka, is visiting at the home of her niece Mrs. Frank Olsen. Miss Freda Nelson of Salt Lake City was the dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Bowlby Sunday. Mrs. Edgar Hocking of Newport, New-port, Oregon, and Mrs. Emma Nichols spent the week end at Fillmore visiting Mr. and Mrs. Bill Nichols. Members of the Kopperette Klub honored Mrs. Dewey Mayne on her birthday anniversary Monday Mon-day afternoon with a party. A series of games' were played and gifts presented the honor guest.
