Edmunds at her home on East South Temple street. Bowls of California poppies decorated the small t a hies, from which tea was served. The dining room was in red. the tea table having a eenterniece of red cosmos arranged in a low mound. At either end of the table was a red in tin heart, drivpn bv a kewpie doll dressed as a bride. The -ibrary and parlors were decorated with autumn leaves and the dining room with pink and white roses. The table held a centerpiece of the roses in a crystal basket and was covered v;ith a cluny lace cloth over pink satin. The bride, who was unattended, wore a gown of ivory crepe de meteor, with a tulle veil, and carried a shower bouquet bou-quet of Bride's roses. . Mies Jeanette Parry, Miss Ella Mickelson and Miss Florence Schofield assisted in the dining room. Punch was served by Miss Lillian Lil-lian Swenson and Miss Mary Hoss Mr. and Mrs. Poll left last night for a month's trip through California. Mrs. Poll wore a traveling suit of green broadcloth, broad-cloth, trimmed with black fur, and a black velvet hat. Mrs. J. G. McAllister entertained tho members of the Thursday Afternoon club and a few additional guests yesterday at her home, 1234 East Third South street. Luncheon was served from small tables, which were decorated with crystal bowls of marigolds and nasturtiums, and during dur-ing the afternoon hours the guests were entertained at five tables of bridge. Assisting the hostess were her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Roy Avery of San Francisco; Miss Birdie Langton, Mrs. Emmet t Annts and Mrs. Lucile Mcfntosh. Mrs. S. J. Goodro announces the marriage mar-riage of her daughter, Florence Bay-singer, Bay-singer, to N. A. Stone. The ceremony was performed at 8 o'clock by the bride's father and was witnessed by only members mem-bers of the two families. Miss Gladys Morning was maid of honor and Frank Manning was best man. The bride wore a gown of cream Georgette over charmeuse, with a tulle veil. She carried a shower bouquet of Bride's roses. Tne maid of honor wore yellow satin and carried Cecil lirunner roses. Autumn flowers and ferns were used to decorate the house. In the dining room a color scheme of pink and white was carried out, the table having as a centerpiece a basket of pink and white cosmos. The" mother of the bride, her sister. Miss Helen Smith, and Miss Ruby Manning assisted. Mr. and Mrs. Manning will make their home here.
