Torrential rains. in parts of Kansas and elsewhere south-weft south-weft had a good deal to do with rallying the wheat market today after an early decline. Prices closed firm, lc to lc above last night. Corn gained gc to RJc net and oats ic to fie. In provisions the finish ranged from Zc decline to a shade advance. Short sellers of wheat berre decidedly nervous in re sard to repons that In many i places in western Kansas there liad been 1 storms. Further delays to the movement , of the winter crop tended also to in-j in-j crease bullish sentiment during the last I Part of the day. and so did word of t heavy export sale?.
