Show NEW MILUHB PUfflT lEIIIGCiiPLElI i Nevada-Dougflas to Begin i Treating Ores Within j Sixty Days' Time. j j The Xevada-Douglas mill will be com- pie ted and ready to treat ores within ; approximately sixty days' time, according- to a letter received at trie local of- : rices from the superintendent In charge : of the work. The new mill will have a capacity of 250 tons per twenty-four hours and additional units will be added if found necessary. Operators on other properties are to pend their ores to the new plant in the event that the ea- i paeity is not overtaxed. The superintendent's letter is In part as follows: : VVe are progressing very nicely j with our mill eunttruetion. Founda- i tions for the ore bins are in, and those for the digesters will be com- pleted in the coming week. Most of j our lumber and cement requirements ! are on the ground, and we will start to set the digesters in place some time the latter part of this month. I should say that it will take in the neighborhood of sixty days to complete com-plete our plant, and we will have a capacity of about 250 tons per day in this first unit. A number of the small property holders in this district are very anxious anx-ious to have their ores treated at j our plant when tlnished. and I think quite a custom business could be 1 worked up if we so desired. We win probably need, however, all the caps ca-ps city we have in our first unit for the treatment of Nevada-Douglas orey. ' ! We are continuing to carry on. the 1 usual amount of experimental work, and are constantly making Improvements Improve-ments on the process. Have thirty-three men at work now and will put on five more about the first of December. |
