Show CHARLES TYNG PLANS TO FINANCE BUREAU He Invites 135 Commercial Club Members Mem-bers to Meet and Discuss Matter. Charles Tyng, tho originator of the now plan for financing tho Commercial club publicity bureau, yesterday sent letters to 135 club members inviting them o a mooting at tho Commercial club on Wednesday to discuss the new plan. The 135 persons to attend the meeting arc expected to constitute a coiumitleo for the purpose of raising funds for tho bureau in tho manner outlined by Mr. Tyng. All of the business and professional men of tho city have been listed by those in ehargo of the collection of funds. A card index has beon formed and a uniform method of assessment agreed upon. Members of tho committee commit-tee will call on each of thoso on the list and arrange for tho collection of the assessment. According to the plan, as outlined by Tyng, there will be but one assessment per year for publicity purposes. This will cover all conventions, tho maintenance mainte-nance of the publicity bureau, the issuance issu-ance of advertising data and the annual an-nual carnival of tho Wizards of tho Wasatch. This method, it is believed, will prove much more satisfactory than the present method of collect! ntr funds for each convention and carnival. |
