Ncarlv 100 students stu-dents of tho Ogdcn City public schools woro tho owners of exhibits entered in a poultry show at tho Quincy school today. to-day. It was tho first annual show of tho kiud over held in this city and proved immcnsoly successful, officials of tho Ogdon Poultry association participating partici-pating and giving tho young poultry lanciors valuable advico in the Jurther pursuit of tho industry. In addition to twenty exhibits of poultry there wcro twonty-fivo dona, three cats and eight pens of pigeons in tuo show room. .Forty-two prizes woro awarded, tho sweepstakes prizo being won by Trtiwrcnco liramwcll with a pen of wnito' phlvmouth rocks. V. W. Browning acted aa judgo in tho awarding award-ing of the prizes for poultry and Wil-ford Wil-ford Bramwoll. president of the poultry association delivered a brief locturo to the students. The show was conducted under tho direction of Principal G. C. Hobson of tho Quincy school. |
