Show DEMOCRATS ELECT ANOTHER MEMBER Xecly Defeats Republican Opponent'- for Congress in Seventli Kansas by 2000 Majority. lllTTCHINSON, Kan.. Jan. 0. George A. Nccly, Democrat, today was elected to congress from the Seventh Kansas district, dis-trict, to succeed the late "E. IT. Madison, Republican. John M. Klnklc. chairman of the Republican Re-publican district committee, at 10 o'clock tonight conceded the election or Nccly over Frank L. Martin. Republican, by 1200 to 1500 votes. John Grayblll, chairman or the Democratic committee, 'claims the election o Nccly by a majority of L'000. Representative Madison was elected In 1911 over Mr. Nccly by 5000 votes. To-dav's To-dav's election puts two Democrats in the' house of representatives from Kansas. Joseph G. Tangart having succeeded the late A. C. Mitchell. Republican, In the Second district. A light vote was cast throughout the district. In the fourteen counties that had reported up to IQ'MO o'clock tonight. Necly had a majority or 1425. The counties coun-ties not heard from are small and will not change tho result. The Seventh district derives some of Us fame from the fact that it constitutes consti-tutes the larger portion of the old district dis-trict which fne late Jerry Simpson represented repre-sented in congress Tor six years.
