referred to the committee on streets and alley the business men of the city callad attention to the latter part of the second clause of an ordinance providing for the erection oi balconies awnings and passed june 20 1890 and asked that said ordinance ba amended by out the words and no part and inserting in lieu thereof the frame work As ahe ordinance now reads no portion of the awning is allowed to be aesa than seven feet above but if this amendment is made ane frame work must be seven feet above the sidewalk but the fringing of abe awning may hang lower mr dixon moved that it he the sense of
