there were present judge JD jones selectmen holdaway and lund the county attorney county clerk and sheriff NEW mr keetch and others asked fyr the organization of a new precinct to comprise all that district of country lying north of the old precinct line formerly between provo and pleasant grove and south of the robison north line from the base of the mountain to the lake the petition was referred to selectmen holdaway and lund ABANDONED J E boss city recorder of lehi sent in a communication in regard to abandoning a certain piece of road near dry creek in that precinct and on motion of selectman holdaway the clerk was instructed to request the said city recorder to forward a certified copy of the action of the city council of lehi in abandoning said ro adas the communication asking for a change of boundaries of said district and also the counter petition of james C nielsen et al of highland school district on the same question reported that they had examined the premises which are asked to be reat rached to alpine and had held meetings with both sides and had heard state ments pro and con on the subject after full consideration aliey had ar rayed at the conclusion that the boundary line between alpine and highland districts 1 be removed at least one balf mila south from the present location ind further that if the line be removed as above rec commended it would be to the of all to do away entirely with highland district they would therefore recommend that highland district be abolished and the old boundaries between alpine and american fork be reestablished
