Show MAY SERVE LONG TERMS. Indeterminate Sentence Held Likely In Case of Ogden BandltB. Special to Tho Tribune. OGDBN, July '23 After a conference with thn officers of the police department depart-ment today, County Attorney David Jensen Jen-sen announced that the preliminary hearing hear-ing of the three bandits who attempted to "slick up" the town last Monday would be held before Judge W. H. Rccd-or Rccd-or on Friday. He will file charges of highway robbery against each of the men and there probably will be other charges against at least two of the trio. Anticipating no trouble whatever In securing a conviction of all three men. County Attorney Jensen will place enough counts against the bandits to keep them In the state prison the remainder re-mainder of their natural lives If it is so desired by the state board of pardons. Under the new law. It is probable, according ac-cording to the attorney, that the men will be given Indeterminate sentences. The sentencing judg-e then provides the state board of pardons with full information informa-tion In the cases and recommendation as to the length of the terms. |
