Show Mis Pearl Adair Bride of H. R. Marriott A marriage of Monday was that of Pearl May Adair, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. John O. Adair of 181 East Gregson street, Salt Lake City, and Harold Ros-coe Ros-coe Marriott, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Marriott of this city. The bride was introduced to many friends of the Marriotts last Friday evening when Mrs. R. R. Marriott, assisted by Mrs. John J. Creedon, Mrs. John Turner and Mrs. Raymond Marriott, entertained en-tertained at a shower honoring Mis Adair at No. 2 Fire hall. Bowls of summer flowers were used about the long room and tables arranged for cards. Prizes were presented Mrs. Joe Scussel and Mrs. Art Cook at bridge and Mrs. George Pickering Picker-ing and Mrs. Eldon Crooks at Five Hundred. Miss Edith Fletcher Fletch-er won house prize. A two course luncheon was served to forty-four ladies. Favors Fa-vors were candy baskets. The couple are at home at the New Royal apartment, following a short wedding trip. Mr. Marriott Mar-riott is a Utah Copper company employe. -v |
