Smilh, president of the Sevier Valley Orchard company, who Is in Salt- Lake City. Credit is given bv Mr. Smith to the Sevier Valley Fruitgrowers Fruit-growers association, of which he Is president, presi-dent, for the work done by that organization organ-ization in finding markets for the heavy fruit crop of the valley this year. Sixty carloads of apples were placed on the market, according to Mr. .Smith, through the efforts ot the association, and in addltloji to this he asserts that the market for Utah fruit Is plentiful and can bo found with very little effort. By concerted effort, he nays, tlio association associ-ation has shown that, the crop can be readily rold and that tlie idt that oilier crops will take the place of Trull thero Is a mistaken one. |
