Show TWO FIRES the little kate motor did tha mischief A stiff northerly breeze was blowing on monday afternoon and as the little kate motor passed through 1 tho north eastern part of the city sparks were blown a considerable distance at about two blazes appeared almost simultaneously one at a shed owned by george mel druna tr on fourteenth street between M and N streets and the other a bluck east at J B bennetts shed the meldrum shed was destroyed but by means of buckets and the fire department part ment which arrived on the scene in a few minutes an adjoining small barn was saved the bennett shed wag completely destroyed the te loss by both fires will not exceed a hundred or a hundred and fifty dollars there is no doubt aa to the origin of the fires aa children who were playing near saw the sparks from the motor light on the sheds i |
