Mr Gale Is Iho author of a bulletin Issued hy the survey on "Potash" and was very enthusiastic over tho possibility possi-bility of finding the much desired substance sub-stance in Railroad valley, having previously pre-viously visited these llclds in an -official capacity. The Railroad Valley Saline company was organized by prominent residents oP Tonopah to develop a prehistoric lake bed, which Is supposed to contain potash of a commercial grade. A churn drill was purchased from the Nevnda Consolidated Con-solidated Copper company by Mr. Brandt last November. It being the desire of the company to drill a series of holes to a depth of 1200 feet. The management manage-ment has been encaged for several months In building roads to the point where the hole will he sunk. It Is expected ex-pected that drilling will be started about March 1.
