Show GREEK BADLY BEATEN BY TWO ANTAGONISTS Rochan Usua, a Greek laborer, was badly beaten Sunday afternoon by two men whom tho victim says are Turks, and who were members of a "colony" of about twenty laborers occupying a "small houso In Roberts court. Usau, who was taken to the emergency emer-gency hospital for treatment, told the police, through an Interpreter, that the two men who attacked him wero brothers named Nassouff. He declared they owed him about 5300. and sought to kill him because they did not want to pay. The Greek said they bad attacked him with a shovel and hammer, and the cuts and bruises on his face and head showed that some blunt Instrument bad been used. Patrolman Radke went to tho quarters occupied by Usau and his companions, but every Greek and Turk had fled. Dr. Sprague dressed Usau's Injuries, and he was taken In charge by friends. |
