Hitting was tho big feature of the game, Murray making fourteen hits, while Salt Lake made ten. Both, sides slugged the ball for all it was worth, although the playing was a little ragged. The lleldlng. however, was sharp and snappy. Moser. the Salt Lako pitcher, was hit hard, and In the seventh Inning was removed re-moved and Hummel substituted. After this Murray only made one run and that was not Hummol's fault. The big crowd of fans enjoyed tho game to the limit. In the seventh inning Right Fielder Stewart attempted to catch a high fly and, losing his balanco, turned a somersault somer-sault and fell on his head.
