Show RETAIL MERCHANTS ADOPT RESOLUTIONS ON FASSELL For the purpose of adopting resolutions relative to the murder of George ,W. Fassoll. former secretary of the Retail Merchants' association, the members of the association held a meeting Monday evening at which the following resolutions woro adopted: "Whereas, Through tho murderous act of hold-ups. our bolovod brother and secretary, sec-retary, George W. Fassell, has boen ruthlessly ruth-lessly and cold-bloodedly slain: and, "Whereas. Through a dastardly act a wldowod mother Is left to mourn the loss of a worthy son; and, "Whereas, The vacancy In tho ranks of our association caused by his "untimely death is most keenly felt by us, therefore be it "Resolved. That we. the members of the Salt Lake Retail Merchants' association associa-tion In meeting nssombled. do most deeply deep-ly .sympathize with the bereaved mothor, sister and brother of our departed member; mem-ber; and be It further "Resolved, That this resolution bo spread- upon the minutes of this association associa-tion and that a copy bo sent to the family. Weight then requested that all members of the association close their stores at 1 o'clock Tuesday and remain re-main closed during the funeral services ovo'r the remains of Mr. Fassoll. All members were requested to moot at the Mllnm & Lees store. 71 West First South street, promptly at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon aft-ernoon and KQ In a body to the services at Phillips Congregational church.
