Show STAR DISTRICT IS More TINTIC, Beaver County Camp Develops Enough to Justify This Prediction. ORES RICH AND DO EXTEND TO DEPTH Indian Queen and King David Director Makes Visit to Busy County. "Some of these days you are going to admit that the Star district of Beaver county Is as great and as permanent a camp as Tintic Is today, and I verily believe it will not be long until this situation situ-ation Is reached," said Lorln N. Morrison Morri-son on his return yesterday from an inspection in-spection of the various Beaver county properties. After examining the Indian Queen and King David properties, of which companies Mr. Morrison Is a director, di-rector, ho went over to tho Star section and was astonished at tho splendid results re-sults following the wide activity there- "Take the Majestic. Moscow, Red Warrior, War-rior, Wild Bill. Crown, Rebel, Hub, St. Mary's and numerous other properties, they all havo magnificent oro, and tho deeper they go the better the ores got. ii iuuks as ii uie iiioscow is Burnt; find as large and as rich an ore body as any property In Tintic can boast of. and tho Majestic In tho old Harrington-Hickory Is finding much and very rich rock below the water level." When asked about the properties In which ho Is interested, Mr. Morrison said ; "I found the Indian Queen tunnel in a. distance of 1700 feet, and progress Is being mado at the rate or 200 feet a month. The face Is now showing 5lm with considerable Iron values. About 300 feet back from the face is a cross-fissure cross-fissure on which a double shift of miners Is now at work. We have followed this fissure for sixty fect: and I feel certain that we will develop ore in It. "On the King David property the management man-agement Is drifting on tho 200 and S00 levels. The northeast drift on the S00 Is breaking Into a fissure systom throughout through-out which somo lead occurs. Tho southwest south-west drift is In a white lime and looks favorable, although no values hao as yet made their appearance. The northwest north-west drift on the 200 level Is making toward to-ward the contact, and wo aro now getting get-ting some porphyry and llmo carrying1 a smali percentage of lead. Ore Is expected expect-ed when the contact Is gained. These two properties look very encouraging, and the best kind of earnest development work Is being done in each one." |
