The lirst lot that arrived here two months ago was In an excellent state of preservation, and the second consignment consign-ment that came last week Is proving to nave been just as thoroughly pickled, Some of the trophies are declared to ho among the most magnificent specimens speci-mens that have come into tho possession of the institution. With some of the skins came a complete com-plete sot of bones, upon .which thev will be mounted. In that, way the mount will be extremely correct, as the skeleton is an aid to the taxidermist in getting thc animal lifelike, both In respect to size and form.
