At the Tuesday evening session of the Murray City council coun-cil the communication from Isaac Springer Spring-er & Co., asking for information concerning con-cerning the city's proposition of f-ccur-Ing the Progress company's water distributing dis-tributing system, as to whether the city intends to Issue bonds for such purpose will come up for consideration as will the communication from the Utah Culbert company. Another matter to bo discussed will be the request of Michael Mauss. bishop of tho Murray rlrsL ward, who has asked tho council to authorize the city engineer Co give them the srade in front i of their lot op Vno street at the expense i of the clvurch. They contemplate the building' of a 5-foot cement sidewalk in front of the property. The recorder has been requested to Inform Mr. Whitley, of tho American Smelting & 7tciining company, that the city will accept the proposition of opening or extending Second Sec-ond avenue in accordance with tho plans, profile and specifications as submitted to the city engineer and adopted by tho city council, provided tho company will bear the expense of grading, bridging and preparing the new street for use.
