Alleging Alleg-ing that political capital was being made out of ihe second trial of Patrick Calhoun, president of the United Railroads, Rail-roads, charged with briber, and declaring de-claring t lint the case was being mado one of the issues in tho present municipal muni-cipal campaign b.y adherents- of Francis J. Honoy, who is running for district attorney on the Democratic ticket, and as an independent candidate, counsel for Calhoun today asked for a postponement post-ponement until after tho November election. - Judge Lawlor took the matter under advisemenl.. This motion was followed bv another asking for a conliuuauce until October on account of the illness of Stanley Moore, counsel for the defendant. |
