Show Park City Brevities Special to The Tribune. PARK CITV. Sept. S. Charles, the 1-month-old child or Mr. and Mrs, C. F. Allen, died at the family residence yesterday yes-terday morning from erysipelas. The little lit-tle one had been ill but a short time and the death comes as a shock to the bereaved parents. The funeral was licit 1 Tuesday afternoon from the L. D. S. church. Interment was ln the City cemetery. The regular meeting of Park Cltv lodge No. 731. R. p. o. E.. was held at Society hall last evening when the regular routine of business was dispensed with and one candidate initialed into the mysteries of the order. A banquet followed the Initiation. In-itiation. Passengers coming ln on the ,Rlo Grande train this morning were forced to walk from the lower V Into the city owing to an ore wagon breaking down on the railroad crossing. Rather than wall until the track w.-ts cleared, most of the passengers walked. Some Interest has been shown In the guessing contest In regard to the name of the new picture show which opened here Saturday night. A prize was offered of-fered to the one guessing the name of the house, which was written on n card and placed in a sealed envelope. The drawing look place last evening and upon opening- the envelope it was found that no one had guessed the correct name. The name was Liberty. At a meeting of the county commissioners commis-sioners held In Coalville. John Coffey was appointed sheriff to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Patrick Hurley. Hur-ley. Tim P. Sullivan was arrested yesterday yester-day afternoon on a charge of disturbing lh pea? and his trial will come up before his honor, Judge Waters, this afternoon. |
