Thaw, tho slayer of Stanford White, is not en.joying the same privileges privi-leges that were his during the early part of his stay in the Duchess county jail. When ho first came here from the asylum of tho insane at Matteawan, Thaw was harbored in the elaborately furnished private apartments of Sheriff Chauler.
