Show NOTES OF EUREKA Special to Tho Tribune. EUREKA, Jan. G.-r-Funeral services over tho remains of Rodnev Wilton, the son of Mr. and Mrs. I. C. Holloday, wero held this evening at tho residence of Thomas Franks. Tho child died yesterday, yester-day, croup being tho cause of its death. The remains will bo shipped to Santa-quin Santa-quin tomorrow morning for burial. Francis, the 0-ycar-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Poison, died at tho family residence at Silver Cltv, Mondav. the cause of death being leakage of the" heart. Tho remains were shipped todav to Sandy for burial. Tho county commissioners have appointed ap-pointed Herbert Slado deputy sheriff at the Tlntlc smelter. The new machinery, boilers, etc., havo been installed at the Dragon Iron mine and sinking and development work will be commenced Immediately. J". G. Westborg and W. A. Miller, who have a leaso on tho Undino property at Silver City, have struck a rich streak of ore and will make a carload shipment this week. Jack Condon has returned to Tintlc, after a year spent in Alaska and Japan. |
