F Moss 1 Principal Davis delivered an speech and made some timely remarks concerning the school and some of its purposes and problems Mr 11 Erwin Johnson I director of road planning and research gave ga a avery very inspirational inspirational and educational talk on safet safety on the highways He proved pro by statistics that thal there is no traffic signal which will protect the pedestrian adult or child from He strongly strong strong- ly l advocated that parents teach their children to be self reliant that devices only serve as crutches and that safety safely lies within each person concerned No one knows who will be a violator of a signal He urged t f that drivers be conscious of ev cry object along the way and especially at intersections His point of view was somewhat of a revelation to to most of the patrons in attendance Light refreshments were served b by Mrs Gordon Boulton and Mrs l Duane Hedburg of the hospital- hospital committee t I Kassa Korpela our friend i from Finland who is making her home with the J.
