The llfth resulted In a good finish, First Peep leading Arcourt and Fair Fagot borne. Owing to the sudden improvement shown by Mnrshal Ney. the Oakland stewards suspended J. C. McLaughlin, his owner, C A. Ross, the trainer, and the horse. Ross trains for Roy Offutt. the bookmaker, who owns a big stable. Oftutt will be called upon for an explanation, and no entries will be received from his stables pending the Investigation. A clean-up was made on the victory of Marshal Ney.
