Show KILLED IX DUGOUT . August Wigren Perishes Alono on His Claim. August Wigren, aged 32 years, was killed last Monday in a dugout on his claim on the Uintah reserve. Mr. Wigren. whilo in tho dugout, in some manner knocked out a prop supporting sup-porting the roof, which fell and one of the timbers caught him, pinning him to the floor; and the earth and timbers falling upon him. killed him instantly. His hodv was i'ouud during the afternoon after-noon by a young man named Carlisle. He took the bodv from the debris and then went to Theodore, six milos away, to get help. A. M. Murdoek took tho matter in hand. Later the body, was taken by wagon to Jleber, and from thero it was brought to Salt Lake by rail and taken to tho undertaking par-lprs par-lprs of .Toseph F. Taylor. ' Mr. Wigren leaves n wife and four children, .tho eldest above 10 years, who reside tit 1015 Green street. Tho funeral will be held from tho Twenty-fourth Twenty-fourth ward schoolhouse at 2 o'clock 'Sunday afternoon.
