Show FREIGHT RATE MEETING Van Sont, Hoch and Others to Speak at Wichita. WICHITA, Kan., Jnn. 9. Many dele- , gates have already arrived In the city to attend the state freight rate convention ' which meets here tomorrow The convention con-vention will be held for the purpose of forming a state organisation to influence freight rate legislation both In the State Legislature nnd In Congress. I It is expec ted that fully lf0 delegates dele-gates will be In nttendnnce at the Convention representing commercial and farmers' organizations from all parts of the State. Prominent Men to Speak. The principal speakers will be former Gov. Van Sant of Minnesota and Speaker I. L. L nroot of Wisconsin Gov Hoch and other prominent men of Kansas are , also on the programme A preliminary meeting attended by the executive commute com-mute and such delegates as have arrived was held this afternoon It Is probable that J L.
