Some weeks ago an option was taken on the stocks and bonds of the. company, SaO.000 being paid dowu to sccuro the option on the balance, amounting to $2,00,000, held in "Rochester. N, Y. It is understood, however, that this amount will be secured se-cured at a bargain, owing to the failure fail-ure of the holding concerns, aud that 200,000 will cover this liability. Every subscriber to the fund of $"1,200,000 will bo given bonds at par. with 6 per cent interest, dating from July 1, 1907, and an equal amount of stock as a lirmim Thn Tirrflt fit tVin nnmnfitiv :iri now given as $120,000 per annum, which will tako caro of the interest on the bonds and leave a margin. A circular issued by the company states that the concern has exchanges from Preston, Ida., to Eureka, Utah., all. connected bv its own toll linos. It has subway lines covering the entire en-tire business districts of Salt Lake and Ogdcn. It has 2386 miles of copper toll wire connecting its exchanges, and it has now nearly 10.000 telephones in operatiou over its system. Among thoRe interested are: Thomas B.
