Show GLASS CASE IS SLOW Prosecution Finds Young Woman Stenographer Sten-ographer an Unwilling Witness. SAN FRANCISCO, July 16. Two witnesses, John Krauss, a sub-agent of the Pacific, and Miss Mary Kyau, a stenographer formerly for-merly in tho employment of Agent T. V. llalsey, proved unwilling witnessos. Miss Ryan, who was the first woman thus far to appear as a witness in court in any of the graft cases, was relied on by the prosecution to tell of incriminating incriminat-ing conversations b'etween Halsey and Glass, but the best Assistant District.
