The slump In stock levels had no effect upon the directors of the May Day and the Uncle Sam Consolidated directors Tuesday, as both official families convened con-vened as per schedule and posted dividends divi-dends out of the profits attending the shipment of load-silver ores to the local market. The May Day directors met at 2 o'clock and posted one and one-half cents a share, or $12,000, This dividend Is payable on the 24th of the month to all stockholders of record on the 19th. The booksv will reopen on tho 25th- The Uncle Sam Consolidated company on the 19th will distribute a total of $15.-000, $15.-000, or three cents a share, to all stockholders stock-holders of record on the 12th, the books to reopen on the 20th. Both companies are among the large present-day shippers of ore from Tintic, the ores from both are of such a quality to be highly desirable to tho local smelters, and both have an abundance of resources upon which to draw for future realization.
