WILL NOT BUILD. Burlington Abandons Proposed Lino to Shoshone Reservation. CHEYENNE, Wyo., June 5 -The Associated Asso-ciated Press correspondent learned today to-day from what Is considered an absolutely absolute-ly reliable source that the Burlington railroad, which has been conducting exten5lve surveys in tho Rig Horn hasln with the view of reaching the Shoshone Sho-shone reservation, has indefinitely postponed post-poned Us plans to build. The large corps of Burlington surveyors now in the field hns been recalled, and the proposed visit of tho Burlington officials has been abandoned. This eliminates all prospect of the great railroad construction war In which tho Northwestern and Burlington Burling-ton planned to engage In their race for the Shoshono reservation, to bo opened up next year. Agreement between tho railroads and a lack 'of development ant reported to bo the reasons for the abandonment aban-donment of the railroad.
