The veto by Mayor Morris of the resolution reso-lution granting a blanket license to Frederick Fred-erick Heath for the Salt Palace resort was read. The Mayor's Objection was to the portion regnrdlng the removal of the fence. The discussion of the question was long and Igbdred Finally, on motion of Councilman Fernstrom. the report of the committee wns so amended as to strike out reference to the matter of moving the fence and grant the license. Subsequently Councilman Fernstrom moved that the agreement as to the removal re-moval of the fence be ratified, with tho understanding that three feet of the sidewalk side-walk along the bicycle track be leased to Heath at the rate of $1 a year until October IS. This was accepted nnd the Heath matter was allowed to subside. As to Water Works.
