Show BURNED WIFE'S WAISTS. St. Paul Man Determined to Break Up tho .Theater Habit. ST. PAUL, M(nn Nov, 15. In order to break up the theater habit which his wife had cultivated, he says, to a degree, de-gree, R. A. Landrum took a. bundle of her best clotheB last night and put them In the stove. The garments were reduced re-duced to ashes in a few seconds, and when Mrs. Landrum came in from a neighborhood call to dress for the theater thea-ter she found that her prettiest waist waa missing. Landrum admitted that he knew the fate of the waist, and Mrs. Landrum became bo enraged that he had to beat a retreat. Then she called a policeman police-man and had her husband arrested on the charge of malicious destruction of property. |
