After a rifle and revolver battle ln which one man was wounded, a band of policemen succeeded suc-ceeded In capturing John Nadolski, later Identified as one of thc three bandits wanted for tho murder of Fritz Krueger In the hold-up of Abram Rleger's saloon, early Sunday morning. His companions escaped. The cupture was made in a lonely spot near a farmhouse between the towns of Jefferson and Niles, where the three bandits had sought rofuge. The owner of the place was arrested, with his nineteen-year-old daughter. Ills son, Frank Paplolenskl, Jr., escaped, after he had been shot In the back of the head by the police. The police believe they can obtain a confession from Nadolski, which will disclose the identity of his two companions. com-panions. Every precaution will be taken ta-ken on the theory that the trio Is a desperate band of inexperienced young men, as danserous as were the car barn bandits, |
