Show CUorK of Women's gluR A meeting of tho Monday Night club was held Monday evening at the homo of Mrs E. E, Shepard. A paper was read by Miss Conncll on "Outlines of Jewish History," after which the club took up the subject for general discussion. Tho next regular meeting will bo held February Febru-ary 13. at tho homo of Mr. and Mrs. Spooner, HI East Seventh South, at which tlmo Mrs. Wise will discuss "Old Colonial Days," and Miss Rocso tho "Territorial Growth of tho United States." An evening meeting of tho Council of Jowlsh Women was held on Tuesday last, when Rnbbl Freund gave a most Interesting Inter-esting talk on tho "Logcnds of Creation." A social hour, with an Informal musical programme, made tho evening an altogether alto-gether pleasant one. On Wednesday afternoon, February' 8, at 3 o'clock, an open meeting of tho council coun-cil will be held ln tho B'nal Brlth club-rooms. club-rooms. Presidents of other federated clubs of tho city and club members aro Invited to attend thl mooting, for which a pleasing programme has been arranged. Rov. John E. Carvor of Ogdcn will give a lecture on "Thackeray" and Mrs. Georgia Geor-gia Snow Carloton will speak of a "Uniform "Uni-form Mnrrlngo and Dlvorco Law" at tho regular meeting of tho Ladles' Literary club next Friday afternoon at tho clubhouse club-house Mrs. W. H". Booth, Jr.. will ontortaln tho members of tho Cleofan on Tuesday afternoon after-noon nt hor home, G13 First street. The club will begin reading Shakespeare's "Henry V.," Mra. Booth to present a history his-tory of tho play and sources of the plot. Members of tho history section, Ladles' Literary club, will continuo tho story of Jewish history on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, the topic of tho day to bo presented pre-sented by Mrs. Gibson. At tho meeting of tho tourist section, Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, Mrs. Fcn-ton Fcn-ton will rend a paper on tho "FMora and Fauna of Japan." and Mrs. Henderson a paper on "Yokohama." Tho Homo Protective league will meet at tho home of Mrs. D. H. Twomcy. Friday Fri-day afternoon, February 10, at 2:20 o'clock. Important business. Tho Woman's Republican club will give a reception at tho homo of Mrs. John C. Cutler, 535 South West Temple street, Monday afternoon nt 2 o'clock. Mrs. W.
