This Is tho first nppearanco of Judge Powers during this campaign in tho northern part of Cacho valley, and his reception at Lowlston and at Richmond, Rich-mond, tho homo of Apo3tlo Marrlner W. Merrill, the Republican apostolic leader. The delayed train caused Judgo Powora to bo thrco hours lato at Lewlston, but an enthusiastic orowd waited for his coming. At Richmond tho crowd was so large that tho commodious opera-houso opera-houso only nccommodated about one-half tho crowd that gathered. Tho Hydo Parko band nnd the Sagebrush Gleo club, fifteen strong, of Logan, helped to keep up tho enthusiasm.
