Show NOTICE TO "WATER USERS. Stato Engineer' Office, Salt Lako City, Utah, Dec. 19. 1903, Notice Is hereby gl-cn that tho Continental Conti-nental Mines nnd Smelting corporation, bv Henry M. Crowthcr, Its manager, man-ager, whoso postofflco address la Salt Lako City, Utah, has made application in accordance with the requirements re-quirements of chapter 103 of the Session Laws of Utah, 1903, to appropriate ono (1) second foot of tho water of Llttlo Cottonwood Cotton-wood creek, situated In Salt Lake county, Utah, to be diverted by means of an Intake In-take box and plpo at a point Immediately above tho Junction of tho north fork of said Llttlo Cottonwood creek, from which pluce tho water will bo conducted in a pipe for a distance of about 2500 feet, and thcro to be used from January 1st to December De-cember 31st, Inclusive, of each year for rcneral domestic purposes, including tho extinguishment of fires, at the ContJ-nental-Alta mine, idtuated abovo tho town of Alta, in Llttlo Cottonwood mining district. dis-trict. It Is Intended that only tho lessor part of said water will bo consumed, and that tho greater part of It will bo roturncd to tho natural channel of tmld Llttlo Cottonwood Cot-tonwood creek at a point whero said north fork conncctn with tho main stream. All protests against tho granting of said application, stating tho reasons therefor, must bo nado in writing and filed in this offlco after thirty (30) days and beforo sixty (CO) dayo from tho dato hereof.
