Show DASHED TO DEATH Two French Aeronautc Killed by Foiling From Dirigible Balloon In n Suburb of Paris Paris Oct 13Do Brasky the aeronaut and a companion wore killed by fulling from a dirigible balloon today to-day The balloon started from the aero station at Vaugiriard a suburb of thin city at 735 a m On a trial trip After preliminary maneuvers with a rope attachment at-tachment De Brasky released the balloon bal-loon and proceeded southward at a height of 300 or 100 feet The propellers of the machine appeared to work well the rudder however was not quite successful suc-cessful At 9O the balloon had returned to above the point of departure and then it gradually mounted higher and higher until it disappeared In the clouds About 930 when tho balloon was above St Aim near St Dennis about live and a I half miles from the center of the city the ropes attaching the car to the balloon broke from some unknown cause nnd the car with its occupants De Brasky and Morln wan dashed to the ground and the aeronauts met Instant death The balloon itself disappeared In the clouds |
