during the past week has been occupied by the consideration of two cases of personal Injury both oc currme on the Central Pnclfic railroad line Robert Cleator of Virginia City claimed that on his way to or from San Francisco last spring on business he Inadvertently boarded the wrong train at Yallojo Junction and got pulled out in the wrong direction A row with the conductor ensued In which Cleator claims that he was put off the train while It was running at full speed breaking his hip and crippling him for life for which he aked 525000 damages dam-ages The evidence adduced made It out that Cleator wanted to get off himself him-self independent of the conductor and had no one to blame but himself Decision De-cision In favor of the railroad company The other cane was that of Paul Fro RIg a young man of 13 who also sues for 325000 damages who wan bndly mutilated mu-tilated and nearly killed by the explosion explo-sion oC a blast In the railroad construction construc-tion cutoff near Reno last April He was driving a wagon for the contractors and happened along Just In time to catch some of the force of the explosion having no warning whatever His left arm was shattered so that It had to be amputated ot the shoulder and a horrible horri-ble gash was cut in the back of his head about six inches long fracturing hln skull besides receiving other bodily Injuries He Is a cry
