H t r Funeral services lor roe Ernest Hanson 21 who served with the Infantry Regiment in Korea will be conducted Saturday Saturday Saturday Sat Sat- at 11 am a.m. in Orchard ward chapel with with Bishop Lawrence Moss 1 officiating was killed June 23 1952 in Korea He was awarded the ithe Purple Heart posthumously He also had been awarded the combat infantryman's badge for excellent performance with the Infantry Division At the time of his death he was an assistant squad leader serving with Company C Infantry Regiment I Born Sept 17 1930 in Salt Lake City he was a son of Robert H H. and Eleanor Hanson He attended Davis high school and was a member of the Orchard ward teachers quorum He was employed by the Elks' Elks I club and by the Union Pacific railroad company prior to entering entering entering enter enter- ing the U. U S.
