H Mr and Mrs Irs Lawrence Briggs A lovely fern was presented to Ruth and Lloyd Many very nice gifts were ere ed A beautiful Christmas cantata was presented at the Bountiful First ward Sunday evening by the vard ward choir Song of the Holy 1 Night based on the favorite Christ Christmas C 1 mas carol Silent Night Holy t Night was the cantata Soloists r were vere Mr 11 Wilford Keddington Mac Calder Charlotte Singley and I Margaret Blomquist Blomqu t soprano and alto duet by Mrs Mis Vera Day and Mrs Thelma Purdy A double mixed mixed mix mix- ed quartet by Charlotte Singley Leone Hatch Marjean Day Leah Call Reed Holbrook Orva Smedley Smedley Smedley ley Wayne Fisher and Stanley W. W 1 Layton The manager of the choir Mr Stanley W. W La Layton presented Mr 1 Hyrum B B. B director director director tor a beautiful music case with the compliments of the choir mem men bers Mr was Very im pressed A number of great accompanists accompanists were present including Dr Juel Trowbridge and his violin and TUr Mr Horace Beesley and his flute The regular accompanists of the choir are aie Mrs Evelyn Taylor and Gordon Keddington The first year beehive girls of the Bountiful Second ward had a Christmas party at the home hom of their tea teacher her Mrs Ronald Tovey The girls who enjoyed the party were Joy Lynn Tove Tovey Joyce Peterson Peterson Peterson Pe Pe- terson Va Lois Sharon Day Mary Beth Nicol Nadine Eggett Patricia Elgren Games were played play play- ed and prizes were won von by Joy JoyLynn JoyLynn JoyLynn Lynn Tovey and VaLois Refreshments were served with dec decorations decorations decorations orations of Christmas and gifts were exchanged by the girls After I the party the girls went to the show Mr and Mrs Ben Dibble and baby of Troy New York journeyed to Fort Brag North C Carolina rolina to spend Christmas with Mr and Mrs Lynn Rich Mrs Dibble is the form former er Delila Tovey of Bountiful and Mrs 1 Rich is is the thc former fonner Genevieve T Tovey v y of Bountiful Mr Rich re returned returned re- re turned r recently from overseas due to the illness of his mother This would really be a happy reunion for the sisters at Christmas time 1 3 ll |
