yesterday morning In estimated by Mrs JMcKinney the owner of the factory at about 12000 While she is not positive about the Insurance she thinks It will amount dto about 3000 There were nearly 5000 cases of canned goods in the warehouse and n greater portion of this is damaged by smoke and water l the canned tomatoes to-matoes had been sold The Fire department de-partment fought the Ilames constantly and hard for over eight hours the strong wind and the Intense cold maltIng malt-ing n fire difficult to handle and malting malt-ing the work of the firemen dangerous and disagreeable The fire was extin extn guished at about 630 In the morning The origin of the fire Is not known to a certainty but all the Indications are that It was incendiary Either It was set on fire by tramps sleeping In the place or by some person who did It with the property the direct intention of destroying THROWN PROM MIL WAGON Joseph Rankin Contractor Seriously Injured Yesterday morning Mr Joseph Rankin Ran-kin was thrown from a mal wagon and received very severer injuries Mr Rankin has the contract for driving the mall from the postofflce to the depot de-pot and as he with n boy on the high seat was on his way to the depot the mall wagon was run Into by a heavy delivery wagon with auclwforce as to throw Mr Rankin from the scat to the ground He struck on his head and left side and was
