Show TWO MINUTE 1 SERMON By Dy Thomas STRUGGLE THE TilE LAW OF F LIFE We have all heard the expression I III wish I had been born rich instead of good look look- looking ing in If I had I would not have to work I could do this and do that It is natural for one to want the good things thin s of life and to de do- desire desire sire to escape he hardships of life Within certain bounds it is desirable Before spending too t o o r S I much time in grieving over the fact that one has enjoyed limited means it might be well to try to understand what might mi ht have been the effect on their lives lIv s if they could have had their way in the have lia matter of an easy life liCe and I had every wish gratified ratified It might be jc well to remember that it is is the discipline of life liCe the struggle the overcoming of resistance and ana obstacles and the rising above them hat develops the individual akes him strong stron and self self- reliant and brings brin s him to the full stature of well rounded man manhood Remove the obstacles make life soft and easy and man individually individually and as a race will degener degenerate de ener ate and become weak This is the law of nature and the law of df f na nature na- na nature ture is Gods God's law We are all creatures of nature and subject to its laws It may be that hardships and discipline are the very things we need to secure for us the blessings of this life |
