Show COUPLE THROWN FROM BUGGY Runaway on Slain Street Causes Two People Injuries Mr and Mrs Benjamin Farrer of 42 East Second South were driving down Main street about 9 oclock last oven Ing when at a point near First South their horse began showing signs of becoming be-coming fractious The exclamations of a crowd of 3outhful bystanders caused the animal to develop lively sprinting powers and H dashed south at a frightful fright-ful clip The shafts becoming loosened from the barnes dragged along the ground In front of A C Smiths drugstore drug-store the shafts struck an uneven spot In the paving causing the vehicle to upset up-set The occupants were thrown to the pavement and pedestrians assisted them Into the drug store where it was found that thiMr Injuries were not serious seri-ous The runaway horse continued his mad frolic with the overturned buggy I and when near Second South street It made a dash for the crowded sidewalk However an electric wire poly was inS In-S tho way and the animal collided forcibly forci-bly with IL With slackened speed the equine careened along the gutter until the vehicle which It was dragging crashed Into a carriage on Second South then some one seized the horse and quieted It The buggy was wrecked Mr and Mrs Farrcr were taken to their home where Dr Wltcher attended their Injuries Fnrrer was bruised in several places and he had also received an ugly cut over his right eye Mrs Farrer suffered a dislocation of her left ulbow but otherwise beyond the severe se-vere shaking up she was unhurt |
