PEDDLER WILL APPEAL II I I i Sandy Man Fined for Selling Meat I Without City License I The question as to whether a man who lives outside of the city and whop who-p s a license to carry on business there can come into the city solicit orders or-ders for his wares and deliver them without taking out a peddlers license is again on but this time It will probably prob-ably be petllcd us the man who was convicted has taken an appeal and says hcAvlll fight the case to n draw In order or-der that he and others may know where they are at John M Brown the man lie runs a butcher shop at Sandy nnd there he pays rent and license He claims that he has a right to come Into this clt rand r-and dispose of meat thathe has killed there without having to pay peddlers license tax for so doing In this caso lie was caught disposing of the carcass I I of a sheep to one of the meat shops oCt I the oC-t city He admitted that he had sold the meat as alleged but claimed arlsht to do BO I Judge TImmony said under the ordinance ordi-nance there was but one thing to do and that was to adjudge him guilty I do not care oai a Justice of the Peace he said to pass upon the constitutionality con-stitutionality of a oiLy ordinance no mailer what my personal opinion maybe may-be in tIre mailer S Brown was lined 10 and his bond on appeal was fixed al 23
