Show SALT PALACE OWNERS MEET t I PLANS FOR THE COMING SEASON J t DISCUSSED The Purchasers Visit the Pnlace and Find that But Few Repairs will be Needed The Salt Palace llenholderis held n meeting yesterday visited the palace grounds and discussed Informally plans for tho future of the enterprise The llenholdcrs haY decided to incorporate In-corporate at nn early date and after making some slight repairs needed to open the palace at as curly n date In the summer as Is practicable S J Lynn receiver of the association will continue In charge for the new owners until the corporation Is effected The llenholders found on their visit to the giounds yesterday that matters I wero in much bet r shape there than might hove becMi expected The roof or the palace Is In need of repairing I and some slight repairs will be necessary neces-sary on the bicycle track The track has stood the exposure to the weather I very well I is the intention of the llenholders to oil it Immediately lo avoid danger of warping when wet weather begins The llenholders are considering several sev-eral projects for the handling of the palace next season Whether It will be conducted on the same lines as last season or not has not yet been determined deter-mined The bicycle track will certainly cer-tainly be opened for racing again as soon as possible The attendance at the palace Is very light during the winter the receipts not amounting to more than o a week The llonholders have been Informed that the Salt Lake Mining Exchange has offered the use of its mineral exhibit ex-hibit to the palace and If the offer still holds good the exhibit will be moved to the palace 7 |
