brilliant mind of her youth she would have found a place in the foremost ranks of American literature lit-erature Sarah Cannichael was born of hum ble parents at ScUiuket Long Island in 183S and when a little child was brought across the plains to Salt Lake valley and here the family settled Books were rare in Salt Lake in those days but the young girl ever had ac cess to that masterpiece the
